Working on behalf of one of our long standing customers we have installed their ultrafast fibre cabling throughout the UK. This particular project involved the installation of fibre cabling within this London housing estate.
The estate consisted of 417 privately owned properties, to bring connectivity to each property, first our team undertook a detailed rod & rope survey.
Within the survey our team found that there were multiple blockages in one of the PIA duct sections, this then required a civils team to install an Openreach overlay. The overlay would then allow a new path to the central fibre active cab (FAC).
We utilised our in house civils team to install the overlay new duct system. This involved several days of lifting the existing slab footway, digging a new trench for the duct system to be installed in and relaying the slab footway.
Once the installation is finished the residents within this estate can enjoy the benefits of our customers ultra fast fibre broadband. The fibre installed is resilient and will last for the current and any future occupants.
